About the Position: This position is with the 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Fort Leonard Wood, Missiouri.
Duties
Conduct concurrent/sequential projects or studies relating to the installation-wide management of numerous automated and manual logistics systems.
Serve as a program automation analyst in the directorate.
Provide systems and user software updates to meet the specific needs of the logistics programs within the organization in the utilization of microcomputer resources for office automation and data acquisition and retrieval.
Serve as the sole point of contact responsible for interfacing the automated systems with various interrelated supply, accounting, maintenance and transportation office automation systems located at various locations throughout the installation.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) analyzing difficult logistical problems to develop solutions; 2) analyzing automated logistical systems to provide support in determining effectiveness of current processes and methods and to recommend enhancements; and 3) evaluating operating systems, vendor software, hardware, and procedures to determine problems and their resolutions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
