You will serve as the Deputy Activity Command Information Officer (DACIO) and Deputy Information Technology Division Head in the Information Technology Division, Corporate Operations Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, located in Corona, CA.

Duties

You will assist the Activity Command Information Officer (ACIO) in the management of the IT Division, providing oversight to the IT cost center and budgets, and coordinate IT Division special projects and initiatives. You will support the ACIO in the execution of Information Technology (IT), Information Management (IM), and Cyber Security (CS) tasking. You will provide IT policy, program management, budget planning, portfolio management, capacity and infrastructure planning. You will provide Cyber Security task management and reporting, telecommunications management, and communication and liaison activities with internal and external stakeholders. You will provide direction, evaluation, and control of multiple highly dynamic and complex IT systems and applications across the command. You will ensure the certification and accreditation of command-level IT system packages through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. You will monitor the Certification and Accreditation progress of all NSWC Corona Division systems from submission through accreditation. You will provide technical guidance and expertise in the resolution of complex IT challenges and oversee command wide IT initiatives such as data center consolidation and cloud implementation.

• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 752 level Advanced within 12 months of appointment.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing management and oversight for an information technology program to develop polices or plans that are aligned with business and Cyber Security requirements.
