Duties
Provides Tier 3 Enterprise infrastructure support for the DLA Systems Center Configuration Manager; DLA Mobility Program; and DLA Desktop standardization and IT.
Responsible for the design, implementation, standardization, upgrade and sustainment of the DLA Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and software distribution architecture.
Works with software packaging creation, testing, scheduling and coordination associated with software distribution and standardized desktop and mobile device configurations.
Will perform research, testing, hardening, deployment and sustainment of DLA Enterprise mobile device management infrastructure, cross platform support and mobile application services.
Supports DLA mission by leveraging virtual capabilities to ensure maximum availability and continuity of operations within the DLA computing environment.
Coordinates with other J6 areas, to provide the design, development, execution and scheduling of system patching for DLA's Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET).
Participates on teams of government and contractor IT specialists involved in problem resolution.
Coordinates with DLA Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) on suspicious activity as well as on Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) dealing with assigned products.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Works with software packaging creation, testing, scheduling and coordination associated with software distribution and standardized desktop and mobile device configurations.
Establishes and maintains centralized vulnerability management capabilities, to include creation and enforcement of standard desktop and mobile device configuration policies.
Applying Microsoft operating system principles and methods; Microsoft Active Directory capabilities, features and architecture; Microsoft Exchange capabilities, features and architecture; capabilities, features and architecture of Office Communications Server (OCS), System Configuration Control Management (SCCM), Blackberry Server Storage Area Network (SAN) principles, standards and practices as well as SAN hardware and software.
Knowledge of Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) system and application software and experience managing enterprise-wide IT Service Management capabilities.
