You will serve as a PROTOTYPE SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Supply Procurement Support Branch of the Acquisition Support Division, Prototyping Instrumentation and Experimentation Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
The Acquisition Support Division is a complex Level III competency that employs state-of-the-art technology and engineering and shop support to design, fabricate and install modifications on modern naval aircraft.
Duties
You will include analyze the needs of the program, working with subject matter experts, coordinated requirements with vendors and ensure quality is maintained to support the ASD end product.
You will review engineering data packages and drawings to identify parts that need to be gathered for aircraft installation.
You will utilize tools such as the government purchase card, FEDMALL, rapid acquisition contracts (RAC) and the MILSTRIP system to procure parts.
You will work with a subject matter expert to determine the appropriate method to procure parts to be installed or fabricated to make final install parts and ensure the correct part are being obtained.
You will Identify trends or patterns of operations or programs to determine funding requirements.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Collaborating with designers and engineers to understand design specifications and technical requirements of a prototype; 2. Researching and coordinating the procurement of material and components to perform aircraft modifications that comply with MILSPEC standards; 3. Utilizing supply/management information systems such as but not limited to: government purchase card, FEDMALL, rapid acquisition contracts (RAC) and the MILSTRIP system to purchase mission critical parts.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
or
Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
or

Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
