You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Aviation Strategic Engagement and End-to-End Supply Chain Management (SCM) Branch of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.
Duties
You will plan, develop and implement long-range, intermediate and short-term supply chain management goals in support of designated business process.
You will be responsible for defining integrated supply chain management plans, recommending innovative solutions for possible application to Navy programs/systems and assist in the development of findings and recommendations.
You will support supply chain or process owners to ensure compliance with set processes, policies and procedures.
You will develop, establish and implement NAVSUP supply chain policy and procedures.
You will collaborate with technical experts across NAVSUP and the Hardware Systems Commands to ensure understanding of commercial off the shelf software, as well as, gain mastery knowledge of new software packages and tools.
You will apply business processes within the Department of Navy Logistics Information Technology portfolio and the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of inventory, logistics, and supply chain management and knowledge of supply operations management policies, business process analysis methodologies, concepts, practices, and principles in order to analyze and develop solutions for problems to ensure continued effective support is provided to customers at the ashore, afloat, and depot maintenance facilities. You have experience analyzing and researching various automated supply systems in order to improve quality and performance of the supply program by adapting and/or applying evolving technology. You also have a comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to include: Master Supply Data, Supply Planning, Allowancing, Procurement, Repairable Management, Order Fulfillment. Specialized Experience must include: 1) Participating in supply chain management studies, identifying deficiencies in performance, and recommending changes for correction; 2) Establishing liaison with functional experts and sub-process managers to support supply chain or process owners to ensure compliance with set supply management business processes, policies, and procedures; 3) Providing analysis to develop strategies and procedures to improve the Supply Chain processes effectiveness; and 4) Interpreting various supply chain policies, and regulations to recommend improvements.
