You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the PEB/HAZMAT Branch Code (Code 5313), Material Division/Warehouse Operations (Code 530), SUPPLY DEPARTMENT (CODE 500) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will preform AUL processing, validation and maintenance functions. You will collect and maintain HM operations and usage data to prepare reports. You will maintain automated inventory records by conducting periodic physical inventories of HM. You will generate report requests, conduct research, identify specific problem areas, analyze, develop, evaluate and make recommendations for corrective actions. You will input various supply transactions to the database to include, requisitions, inquiries, status updates and modifiers.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • An IT Level II Designation is required.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

Qualifications

GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) on a daily basis for stock checks, monitors usage data and research changes in trends to ensure proper stock levels are maintained. Experience planning and completing technical screening on all requested materials to ensure materials meet customer requirements as well as ensuring materials are environmentally compliant. Experience maintaining HM operations and usage data and prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports utilizing N-ERP, Material Management Tool-MB51 (MS Access), and various website programs. Experience conducting automated inventory records ensuring all stocks records are accurate. Experience performing extensive and exhaustive searches for required info; and to provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts. Experience maintaining and generating OPTAR log for HAZMAT purchases and generates monthly reports for financial requirements. GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) on a daily basis for causative research, monitors usage data and research changes in trends to ensure proper stock levels are maintained. Experience performing technical screening on all requested materials to ensure materials meet customer requirements as well as ensuring materials are environmentally compliant.
