As a Program, Planning, and Control (PP&C) analyst within the Strategic Business Integration Office, you will be responsible for creating cost, schedule, and risk products in support of programs and projects at Johnson Space Center. You will lead or assist in budget formulation, policy interpretation, and programmatic product development for program execution and major program milestones.
Duties
Supports the integration of Program Planning and Control (PPC) products, and briefs Program and Project Management on status and results. This includes monthly cost and schedule performance tracking.
Assists in 7120.5 programmatic activities, including tailoring requirements, communicating with external stakeholders, and developing cost, schedule, and risk products necessary to meet NASA Key Decision Point milestones.
Develops integrated schedule products, provides schedule analysis and current program/project status, and coordinates with enterprise and Mission Directorate schedule teams.
Leads the development of Independent Cost Estimates to assist in the procurement process. Provides analysis and evaluation of contract negotiation strategy. Performs other estimates as necessary to aide in management decisions.
Supports near-term budget execution and long-term strategic planning, helps identify program and project resource requirements, and assists in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process.
Communicates results and recommendations to the Program Planning and Control (PPC) and program/project management.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
Providing Program Planning and Control products to support managerial decision making;
Monitoring cost and schedule risks and opportunities to report findings to management and stakeholders;
Analyzing, evaluating, or assessing the performance of projects or programs to support program execution.
