This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Human Resources Division
This position primary purpose is to serve as a senior level business partner, change agent, workforce effectiveness consultant and management analysis expert, working in close coordination with members of senior leadership in the office and throughout DEA.

As a Management and Program Analystyour typical work assignments may include:
Coordinating with internal and external offices to ensure the organization's strategic plans are consistent with relevant DEA planning.
Ensuring an annual review of assigned area by using established internal control checklists and ensuring that all internal controls are in place.
Independently carrying out significant projects and studies which may require unique requirements with expanding or limiting scope, as necessary, to meet constantly changing and increasing demands generated by internal and external customers.
Providing reasonable assurance that operations are conducted in compliance with applicable laws.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
GS-14
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 Federal grade level performing the following duties; 1) Developing reports based on data analytical tools for Senior Leadership; 2) Implementing strategic and operational initiatives that affect structure, resources, requirements, and institutional practices; 3) Advising managers and other officials to comply with prescribed policies, regulations and practices; and, 4) Developing long-range program goals and objectives.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience for this position includes:
