You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA, NAVSUP Headquarters, SUP01 Comptroller, SUP14 Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) division, SUP141 Audit Response and Sustainment Testing Branch
Duties
You will serve as an audit liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization and external with upper echelon commands.
You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommend alternatives for corrective action.
You will conduct continuing program execution review through internal sustainment testing, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
You will be designing, implementing and assessing internal control processes in various systems to solve a variety of accounting and /or auditing problems
You will research and investigate new or improved business and financial management practices.
You will lead process performer discussions to document as-is processes and implement audit compliant processes and control points, test design and effectiveness of implemented controls.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level 2 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service performing Financial Management Analyst work applying principles, concepts and practices to perform assignments concerning financial management, accounting or budget. Specific work experience must demonstrate all of the following: 1) Designing, implementing and assessing internal control processes and accounting systems to solve a variety of accounting and /or auditing problems; 2) Analyzing inspection and management reports and audits to perform trend analysis and develop statistical data; 3) Researching and investigating new or improved business and financial management practices and; 4) Reviewing internal controls within financial and logistical systems.
