You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Records Management Branch of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will assist in the development of recommendations designed to improve operational/administrative procedures for overall management improvement of assigned programs/projects.
You will work on the following assigned programs: Records Management, Directives, Forms and Correspondence, Command Library or Official Mail.
You will compile information into a report and present to higher-level employees for use in analysis and fact-finding.
You will conduct interviews with command personnel regarding various command programs to gather information needed on procedures, processes, workflow, problems encountered, etc.
You will assist command departments with developing and maintaining file plans, cabinets, binders and folders as required by the command records management program, ensuring proper labeling, no duplication, and proper disposition.
You will assist in setting command policies and execution of programs of significant scope and mission impact.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
Qualifications
FOR THE GS-07 - Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector gathering and analyzing data from various sources (references, directives, correspondence, instructions, subject matter experts) to assist in conducting studies on the use of resources, records management, or the effectiveness of programs.
