About the Position: This position will support the US Army Aviation and Missile Command, AMCOM Logistics Center, Business Management Directorate, Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Duties
Perform staff management and advise on programs such as Honorary Awards, Amy Record Information Management, Employee Financial Disclosure Management, and Key Control to assess the accomplishment of the overall program mission, goals and objectives.
Provide mgmt. with objectively based information to make decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of assigned programs.
Advise management of the status of programs, proposes courses of action to be taken with respect to changes in program and assignment requirements.
Identify potential problem areas in programs managed and to propose and recommend corrective courses of action.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the applicant to be able obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- This position requires TDY travel 5% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes being familiar with functional areas Honorary Awards, Army Records Information Management, employee Financial Disclosure Management, and Key Control. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to measure effectiveness and efficiency of program operations against planned programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
