About the Position: Serves as a Supply Technician responsible for providing staff direction and technical guidance to one or more elements of the command in supply management involving TADSS, equipment authorization, acquisition, disposal, and accountability. Provides technical assistance to hand receipt holders for all accountable property.
Duties
Serve as Supply Technician point of contact for an organization.
Ensure proper reutilization, distribution and disposal of excess property.
Provide technical assistance to hand receipt holders for an organization.
Order, pick-up and return repair parts from SSA.
Obtain and manage a Government Credit Card and Account.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires incumbent to serve as a Government Purchase Credit Card Holder.
- Must possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states.
- This position requires incumbent to be able to lift up to 45 pounds in a single lift at least 5 feet off the ground to load on transport system.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- Position requires a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing automated supply databases to maintain property and hand receipt account records; conducting inventories of equipment or supplies; assisting with the processing of supply or equipment request. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
