Duties

Point of contact and central source of information for the planning, scheduling, and controlling of maintenance and repair of equipment for a variety of wheeled, tracked, material handling and ancillary systems. Review request for parts, tools, or equipment submitted by mechanics or other personnel. Initiate necessary supply action to acquire supplies, parts equipment and to follow up to ensure supply requisitions are expedited efficiently and in a timely manner. Utilize the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) monitors all job requests to determine sequencing of operation to accomplish required work. Reconcile due out and due-in records on a weekly basis. Create spreadsheets and databases to maintain data on production used in work measurement. Report obviously damaged or inoperative equipment or parts to supervisor. Track the Army Oil Analysis Program [AOAP] thru submitting samples, processing and mailing to the laboratory on a regular basis.

  • Must be able to obtain Government Purchase Card (GPC) certification within 6 months of coming onboard OR already possess GPC certification.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-05) or equivalent pay band. Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. (Must provide transcripts) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. (Must provide transcripts) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Inventory ManagementManages ResourcesSupply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05). If you are a current, Federal employee, you must include your pay plan, series and grade in your work experience(s) on your resume submission and/or upload supporting documentation (within-grade increase SF50) to show that you meet the time-in-grade requirement. In addition, if your step reflects '00', you must include your current salary for each position.
