About the Position: Serves as a senior Administrative Officer and Officer Manager (Joint Base San Antonio-JBSA) under the Readiness Analytics Directorate (RAD), Headquarters, United States Army Medical Command (USA MEDCOM). Incumbent performs a variety of administrative functions essential to special programs, budget management, personnel management, and contracts in support of five Divisions.
Duties
Primary reviewing official of Government Purchase Card, Defense Travel System, Government Travel Credit Card, Permanent Change of Station orders, Automated Time and Attendance Personnel System.
Perform administrative functions essential to special programs, budget management, personnel management, and contracts.
Considered the subject matter expert on all correspondence policies and procedures.
Produce invitational travel orders and requests lines of accounting.
DoD Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS) Super User for civilian personnel.
Provide oversight such as pay, travel, in/out-processing, time and attendance, general knowledge of operations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing the Government Purchase Card (GPC), Defense Travel System (DTS), Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC), Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders, Automated Time and Attendance Personnel System (ATAAPS), and contracting, assist timekeepers and certifiers in the (W00MED) database, manage the Digital Training Management System (DTMS). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
GS-11
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience of the duties of the next lower grade and addition: Responds to monthly, quarterly, and/or annual audits of DTS processing, assist timekeepers and certifiers in the MEDCOM (W00MED) database, implements policies for time and attendance, assist with special leave programs such as Paid Parental Leave (PPL) and the Donated Leave Program, ensures all individual training records are documented and accurate, prepares agenda for meetings and conferences, and accurately documents and publishes summary of minutes from meetings and conferences.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
