About the Position: Serves as a multi-functional Logistics Management Specialist who provides guidance and staff level support to geographically dispersed Army Field Support Battalions (AFSBns), Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) under the cognizance of Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB) area of support (AOS).

Duties

Review logistics policies, procedures, equipment and support systems, which address operations, precedent-setting, controversial, sensitive and/or complex transportation and logistics support issues. Provide analysis, advice, action plans and milestones in logistics services requirements determination and synchronized execution. Develop plans to manage strategic and tactical continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with the Commander's strategic vision. Manage and oversee multiple installation transportation office services providing unit movements, freight, containers, personal property, and non-tactical vehicles.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time.
