The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Lead for the Analytic Engagement program
Duties
Leads planning, execution and evaluation of analyst engagement programs for the DAF Analytic Community. Develops and implements a comprehensive communication and connection strategy to share information and optimize interaction with the analytic career community.
Leads professional development and continuous education programs for the DAF analytic community. Identifies the skill gaps and learning needs across the analytic community through assessments, surveys, and performance evaluations. Designs and develops training programs and learning materials that align with organizational goals and address identified skill gaps.
Executes marketing strategy for DAF analytic community. Develops and implements marketing and communications strategies to promote community outreach, continuous education programs, and increase customer awareness.
Supports analytic governance program to support senior leaders as they synchronize and align analytics. Recommends community guidelines, rules, and policies that align with the analytic community's values and goals. Ensures that these policies are communicated effectively to community members.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-13, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes mastered the application of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes and systems. In addition to knowledge of the next lower level, this level requires comprehensive knowledge of the range of administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the administration of one or more important public programs. Typically, this includes knowledge of agency program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of key program events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the worth of program accomplishments. Work requires knowledge of relationships with other programs and key administrative support functions within the employing agency or in other agencies.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Mastery of developing effective policies, goals, and sound management practices to successfully direct military and civilian personnel programs.
2. Mastery of communicating effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium project team.
3. Knowledge of a broad scope of analyst development, policies, principles, and procedures with emphasis on continuous development. Skill in analytical methods and techniques for application to military and civilian workforce management issues.
4. Ability to interact and communicate with senior leaders at the GO/SES level on a regular basis. Knowledge of the functions and interactions of the Secretaries Staff, Air Staff, Space Staff, OSD, OPM, AFPC, AETC and other organizations in the field of military and civilian development.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
