Duties

You will support designing a technical solution capturing operational system requirements in network or computing systems. You will perform system performance analysis, address system security, and engage in system management. You will conduct capacity planning for network or computing systems. You will design and implement routing and switching solutions, emphasizing scalability and security for both local and wide area networks. You will analyze technical alternatives to provide design recommendations for complex network or computing systems. You will oversee the implementation of the technical engineering process throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects. You will provide technical guidance to stakeholders within the portfolio's program(s)/project(s), ensuring alignment and resolution of complex, large-scale, cross-organizational challenges.

• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 441 level Advance/Master GS 13 and Above within 6 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrated skills in engineering and designing global enterprise network and computing systems, with proven expertise in configuring, integrating, and validating system components and requirements.
