About the Position: Serves as the Knowledge Management Specialist for HQ IMCOM, planning, developing and implementing knowledge management policies and procedures throughout the organization and it's subordinate units.

Duties

Plans, develops and implements Knowledge Management policies and procedures throughout IMCOM and its subordinate units. Provides the framework for capturing, harnessing and exploiting intellectual capital, thus improving upon individual and organizational performance. Identifies and assists in establishing roles and responsibilities for supporting a knowledge management environment. Assists IMCOM senior leadership in achieving organizational goals and missions. The Knowledge Management Officer will assess IMCOM strategic goals, identifying knowledge gaps, developing knowledge strategies, and integrating Army and DOD knowledge management best practices using various techniques and technology.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
