About the Position: Honolulu District's Environmental program consists of a multi-disciplinary group of professionals dedicated to project excellence. We are comprised of environmental engineers, chemists, archeologists, biologists, industrial hygienists, environmental protection specialists, architects, and Ordnance/Explosive Health & Safety Specialists. We execute multi-faceted environmental technical work such as FUDs and NEPA, using both our in-house expertise and by contract.

Duties

Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned programs and projects. Implement corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the program. Negotiate and integrate all district functions customer requirements, regulatory and environmental requirements, and other agencies commitments in support of assigned programs/projects. Coordinate the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations, etc., for a complex highly visible program and specific project Responsible for the efficient, effective, and timely accomplishment and coordination of the programming, planning, design and construction of projects.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a driver's license in one of the 50 US states or possessions and any installation and/or DoD requirement.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 25%.
