Duties
You will assist management and department personnel in preparation of reports, requests, and documents.
You will plan, organize work, and meet deadlines for an organizational structure with various departments.
You will use office automation and office equipment (e.g. fax machines, copiers, personal computers) to design spreadsheets, graphics, and reports.
You will prepare, review, and edit written correspondence to ensure proper English, grammar, spelling, and punctuation prior to dissemination.
You will call in repair orders, manage key inventory, procurement needs, and monitor fuel charges.
You will coordinate to determine number of traffic violations/accidents involving government vehicles.
You will maintain a database of licensure requirements/violations and perform checks of licensure holdings by personnel driving government vehicles.
Requirements

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- Call back and emergency overtime may be required of this position.
- Requirement to possess and maintain the ability to serve as a notary public as directed and in conformance with relevant law.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of one experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to maintain and create summarized data using business software; maintain a calendar by scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings; Initiate service calls or work requests to ensure the accomplishment of repairs or services; maintain automated records for supplies, repair parts, equipment, and tools; determine reorder needs and provide accurate inventory records; and answer questions or explain information to customers within and outside the organization.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on education OR equivalent combination of experience and education as follows:
- 4 years above high school (except Reporting Stenographer)
