Position may be filled as a temp promotion or detail NTE 13 months by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years. Position may be made permanent without further competition.

Duties
Assist military, civilian personnel, their dependents, and contract personnel traveling to Permanent Change of Station (PCS) with overseas travel arrangements.
Check baggage authorizations on Permanent Change of Station (PCS) Orders based on assignments instructions, and destinations.
Prepare travel authorization (Orders) for Family members traveling OCONUS under concurrent, deferred, non-concurrent, designated location, separation/retirement, and emergency leave.
Request, correct, substitute, and cancel port calls using the Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a Secret security clearance. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Current Department of Army Civilian Employees
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing travel documents for adherence to established travel policies; making corrections to travel documents and/or orders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
