Duties

Reviewing and/or validating transportation vouchers or other personnel property documents. Perform full range of transportation service for a variety of customers such as active duty military, reserve component, and DoD civilians. Process authorized personal property shipment and/or storage entitlements paid for at government expense. Perform pre-audits of transportation vouchers by using knowledge of carriers' rates and tariffs. Advice customers on personal property shipment and/or storage entitlements using Transportation Regulation, guidance, and policies. Determine most beneficial mode of transportations and conduct cost comparisons to determine cost effectiveness.
