You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Systems Acquisition Group, Logistics Integration Department supporting PMA251 Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment program as the Product Support Manager of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
This is a Key Leadership Position.
Duties
You will serve as principal weapons system product support subject matter expert to the PMA's Program Manager to assist in duties as Total Life Cycle Manager.
You will provide both technical and administrative continuity to the product support team.
You will provide insight and advice to the PMA relative to product support requirements, risks and total ownership cost implications of the PMA programs.
You will provide cost supporting data and develop tailored application of the elements of life cycle costing.
You will manage and direct the efforts of all product support personnel on program teams/IPTs providing acquisition and sustaining product support to assigned systems.
You will formulate and execute the Life Cycle Sustainment strategy for assigned systems.

- Must obtain and maintain all required certification and/or license as a condition of employment.
- Travel may be required and may normally include travel to other commands, universities, contractor plants and sponsor headquarters.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 or pay band DS-05 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience should demonstrate the following: 1) Provides life-cycle acquisition and sustainment management for Navy and Marine Corps legacy systems and equipment deployed on the legacy NIMITZ and FORD Class Carriers utilized for the launch and recovery of current and future fixed and rotary wing aircraft; 2) Provides support for the following systems: catapults, arresting gear, helicopter landing systems, wind measuring systems, aviation-based information systems, aviation marking and lighting, recovery systems and visual landing aids, aircraft firefighting equipment, and expeditionary airfield systems and related products; 3) Sustains various legacy systems and their associated challenges; 4) Manages the FORD Class Carrier's new catapult and arresting systems (Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) systems which are currently in production with the planned outfitting of three operational FORD Class Carriers by FY2029; 6) Must have experience in both acquisition and sustainment and possesses excellent team building skills with the ability to meet North Star objectives including capacity and capability challenges; 7) Provides strategic guidance associated with the support requirements across all acquisition lifecycle phases.
