You will serve as a Logistic Management Specialist in the Air Systems Group, Logistics department, Supply Division, DMSMS/Obsolescence Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will provide subject matter expert advice and facilitate the application of logistics concepts and policies across the program, in support of program goals.
You will work with military headquarters and fleet activities to ensure the war fighter’s operational and supportability requirements are understood and applied to the processes required under the applicable logistics division.
You will provide analysis and responses during the development and review of program Contractor Data Requirements Lists and Statements of Work.

You will utilize established planning tools and procedures to plan, establish, and execute effective total life cycle goals for the assigned system.
You will determine appropriate interface activities and serving as a lead or member (as appropriate) of relevant program Integrated Product Teams.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Must be familiar with planning, implementation, and execution of modification programs and maintenance programs as related to supply support. 2) Must be familiar with instructions, polices, Best Practice Guides, and proactive approaches for implementing and maintaining an effective Program Office DMSMS and/or Obsolescence program to ensure effective and efficient planning, integration, and phasing of all efforts to implement resolutions, to minimize or eliminate risks and negative impacts resulting from DMSMS issues throughout the life cycle of DoD Items. 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
