You will serve as an EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND SERVIES SPECIALIST in NAVENPVNTMEDU 2 NORFOLK.

Duties

You will have thorough knowledge of project management. You will maintain a comprehensive inventory of government owned or leased equipment including capitalized personal property. You will plan, procure, receive, property accounting, installation, inventory and disposal of government equipment. You will maintain complete and current records of non-expendable property in applicable systems.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Experience applying above average knowledge in facility principles, methods, and practices to include management of, in and outside building maintenance infrastructure. Experience in being the single point of contact for facilities management and support within the command. Experience providing facilities Information technology, building security to include installation, operations, management, and maintenance (troubleshooting) consistent with the mission, goals, and objectives of the unit's strategic plans. Experience collaborating with outside entities with regards to building maintenance activities and keep the chain of command abreast of current and ongoing issues with recommended solutions. Experience learning the overall effectiveness and efficiency of technical and automated and manual facilities support programs. Experience learning how to assess maintenance programs, effectiveness and investigating a variety of unusual issues.
