You will serve as a MILITARY CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM ANALYST in the INSTALLATIONS AND LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will be responsible for coordinating the development of the Military Construction programs and budgets.
You will prepare, review and coordinate Military Construction program and budget submission requirements.
You will perform a wide range of technical, analytical and administrative duties connected with the formulation, justification, presentation, execution and review of the Military Construction program
You will prepare briefing materials required for the advocacy and defense of the Military Construction program.
You will prepare background information papers and financial exhibits for use by senior Marine Corps and Department of the Navy leadership for Congressional testimony purposes.
You will prepare and coordinate responses to requests for information from Congress.
You will prepare summary reports of Congressional actions on the annual annual Military Construction budget submission.
You will identify trends, analyze and implement cost effective ideas and actions, and program those actions to ensure accomplishment of established goals.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process which supports the Congressional and budgeting activities related to Military Construction (MILCON) and/or Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (FSRM) programs; formulation and justification of MILCON and FSRM budgets with proficiency in performing program analysis techniques during the PPBE process; and solving complex problems and recommend solutions that arise in the prioritization, integration, programming, and budgeting of facilities matters.
