This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the entire range of manpower management requirements.
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (MANPOWER) at the GS-0343-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Responsible for supporting the entire range of manpower management requirements.
Reviewing and managing all manpower change requests (MCR) and organizational change requests (OCR) and perform manpower analysis, studies and surveys.
Providing advice and assistance to management officials on such matters as organizational alignment, and/or requirements for additional manpower.
Applying mastery of knowledge and skill in use of manpower systems and information sources, as well as software to display and manipulating data in support of program build requirements.
Formulating, developing, revising and staff recommended manpower policy.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Overseeing a manpower management program to include studies, staffing patterns to justify manpower requirements, and allocation of positions for an organization;
Developing manpower policies and standard operating procedures;
Leading manpower reviews, projects, and analysis for an organization;
Using manpower systems and software to create, display, and manipulate data.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
