You will serve as a WARRIOR & FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAM MANAGER in the N5 DIRECTORATE COMNAVRESFOR/COMNAVRESFORCOM of COMNAVRESFOR.
Duties
You will apply legislative policy or other directives to develop and recommend program goals, objectives, policies, procedures, methods, and techniques.
You will work at the highest levels of Government and DoD, including Legislative Affairs, Department of the Navy (DoN), Secretary, Assistant Secretary, and Deputy Assistant Secretary levels.
You will produce written and oral communication sufficient to prepare and present findings that recommend specific actions regarding the Warrior/Family Support Programs.
You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the COMNAVRESFORCOM staff.
Requirements

Qualifications
In addition meeting to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Incorporating and adapting to changing factors, priorities, and procedures, which may not promote readily apparent solutions to problems;
Identifying and developing ways to resolve programmatic issues and coordinating annual requirements;
Utilizing management practices and procedures for need assessment, program development, analysis, planning, and evaluation;
Applying policy or directives to develop recommend program goals, objectives, policies, procedures, methods and techniques; AND
Preparing and presenting findings that recommend specific actions regarding diverse populace/clientele, (e.g., the many warriors/service members/family support programs).

Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must posses.
Degree: behavioral or social science (preferred); or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
