Duties
You will serve as an INTEGRATED PRIMARY PREVENTION COORDINATOR in PREVENTION WORKFORCE (N00PW); OFFICE OF THE EXECTIVE DIR (N00ED); COMMANDER NAVY RESERVE FORCE (COMNAVRESFOR) in the NAVAL BASE, NORFOLK, VA.
You will plan and manage training, education, and outreach for integrated primary prevention programs for problematic/destructive behaviors i.e. suicide, sexual harassment/assault, substance misuse, family/interpersonal/workplace violence.
You will assist in program management, support COMNAVRESFOR prevention action plans, initiatives, assessments, and provide insights to Navy leaders at various levels to inform program updates and address prevention gaps.
You will serve as an Inspector on the Inspector?s General Team, inspecting CNRFC, CNAFR, and CNIFR staffs.
You will advise leadership on data-informed actions, prevention methodologies, assessment, and prevention training.
You will deliver ongoing primary prevention training and education, as needed, to build and sustain prevention capacity and capability.

Qualifications
Must have a degree in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to this position OR a combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience performing a wide range of concepts, principles, practices, and procedures related to behavioral health, social, familial, and occupational functioning.
Experience utilizing social science principles, concepts and techniques, as related to integrated prevention programs in order to evaluate, consult, and advise in a variety of settings, thereby promoting a healthy and resilient climate toward the prevention of destructive/problematic behaviors to include suicide, sexual harassment/assault, substance misuse, family/interpersonal/workplace violence.
Experience maintaining prevention programs and practices and appropriately identify, implement, and evaluate prevention methodologies.
