The Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission (FMSHRC) is offering a temporary, non-reimbursable lateral detail for a Privacy Specialist to develop its Privacy Act program and guide the Privacy Act Team. You will retain the pay you are currently receiving from your position of record. Employees external to FMSHRC will require permission from their current agency to be detailed. This is not an official vacancy announcement under the Merit Promotion System.

Requirements

Qualifications

Qualifying Experience includes: Working as a Privacy Specialist and applying the Privacy Act regulations. Conducting manual redaction or using electronic redaction tools to excise information from records and annotate exemption codes near the redacted material. Drafting System of Records Notices (SORNs) and using the Regulatory Information Service Center (RISC)/Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) Consolidated Information System (ROCIS). This is not an official vacancy announcement under the Merit Promotion System.
