You will serve as a MATERIAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN in the Nuclear Material Industrial Section of the Nuclear Material Support Branch, Nuclear Material Management Division, Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Duties
You will ensure accurate and timely processing of computer transactions for the receipt, inspection, storage, and disposal of materials.
You will compare materials received to the material ordering document to ensure correct materials were received.
You will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and relocating material as necessary.
You will note and report any damages, overages, or shortages.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with nuclear material procedures, related nuclear material control regulations and other material policies.
Experience with the inspection levels for nuclear material to determine inspection requirements of material.
Experience working with Material Access Technology (MAT), Receipt Inspection Management System (RIMS), Material Requirements (MRQT), Nuclear Job Material Lists (NJML), and Hazardous Substance Management Systems (HSMS), or similar systems.
Experience with security regulations relating to the safeguard and handling of classified information and material.
