About the Position: Serve as a technical specialist responsible for accomplishing the environmental portions of pre-authorization and post-authorization planning studies as well as work in support of other USACE District programs.

Duties

Perform a variety of specialized work in support of the District's planning, design, construction, and operations for civil works and military programs. Perform in-house studies associated with environmental and recreation planning. Accomplish the environmental portions of military and hazardous, toxic, and radiologic waste programs. Serve as environmental point-of-contact on assigned Civil Work projects.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a driver's license in one of the 50 US states or possessions and any installation and/or DoD requirement.
• Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 10%.
