About the Position: The position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE), Ft. Moore, Georgia 31905. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking is available.
Initiate and monitor the request for personal actions to ensure personnel documents are completed with accuracy, forward suggestions, applications, employment packets, certificate, performance appraisals, injury forms, position description updates.
Manage Operation Table of Distribution of Allowances (TDA) for the organization to provide for resource management of civilian personnel.
Review and process military and civilian awards to ensure the award packets are prepared in accordance with appropriate regulatory guidance.
Serve as an Administrative Support Specialist in the Maneuver Center of Excellence Directorate of Training and Doctrine(DOTD) performing a variety of administration, personnel management, resource, and budget management duties.
Provide advice/assistance on the procedural aspects of personnel management such as staffing and recruitment, classification, labor employee relations, management employee relations, training, awards, injury reporting, workman's compensation, etc
Serve as point of contact for new employee inprocessing, out-processing, pay-related issues, time and attendance reporting, to resolve pay discrepancies for employees.
- Employee must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
