About the Position: ACC delivers contracting solutions in order to support the Army and unified land operations - anytime and anywhere. ACC enables Army readiness through global, expeditionary contracting support to warfighters engaged in military operations, weapon systems acquisition, life cycle management, sustainment and acquisition of goods and services vital to the Soldier's mission and well-being.
Duties
Performs all aspects of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Systems (PPBES).
Interprets congressional legislation OMB directives and HQDA.
Reviews assigned commands and functions for execution budget and program years to ensure balance.
Evaluates unfunded requirements and recommends reprogramming of funds to ensure adequate and efficient distribution of resources to support funding requirements.
Analyzes funding reviews pertaining to assigned budget and programs.
Establishes and maintains contact with the technical staff and counterparts and elements of HQDA, AMC, subordinate commands/activities on all program and budget formulation and execution matters for assigned programs to ensure continuity of efforts.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 Certified position. Must obtain Level 1 certification in Financial Management within 24 months of occupying the position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes budget execution experience, planning, Performs all aspects of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Systems (PPBES).; Planning, coordinating, evaluating and controlling the program and budget execution for the prior, current programs.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower NH-02 pay band level or GS-11 level position in the federal service.
