You will serve as a SUPVY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Digital Analytics Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group, Prototyping, Instrumentation and Experimentation Department Aircraft Prototyping Systems Division (APSD) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will provide design, manufacturing, and integration support of products (systems/subsystems) that meet or exceed APSD’s SAE AS9100 Aerospace Certification policies and procedures.
You will plan, assign and evaluate work of subordinates and prepare performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
You will provide advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
You will carry out the full range of combined technical and administrative direction of others.
You will participate in planning conferences with project engineers and scientists, recommend schedules based on current and future workload and assist them in preliminary stages of development and design.
You will establish well-documented, standard processes for use throughout the organization.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09-12 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expert in the design, manufacture, and integration of products (systems/subsystems) that meet AS9100 Aerospace Certification; 3) Expert in the design, manufacture, and integration of products ( systems/subsystems) that are airworthy and satisfy NAVAIR Flight Clearance requirements; 4) Advanced knowledge of the manufacturing complexities involved in the safe and efficient design, fabrication and integration of aircraft prototype/experimentation systems and subsystems resulting in a product of outstanding quality; 5) Provides subordinates with technical leadership and assistance as necessary, while empowering employees to manage individual assignments.
