You will serve as an Senior Electrical Engineering Technician in the Air Systems Group, Propulsion and Power Engineering Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will manage the facility test schedule including daily work assignments for all government and contractor technicians.
You will coordinate with engineering technical high grades and branch manager regarding all facility operations involving technician support.
You will be responsible for efficient allocation of equipment to support all test efforts within the branch.
You will support the planning and scheduling for routine maintenance of equipment
You will support the planning for hiring of temporary employees to support large-scale test efforts.
You will provide technical input for selection and execution of Capital Investment Program projects.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Practical knowledge of the methods and techniques of engineering or architecture and construction, application, properties, operations, and limitations of engineering systems, processes, structures, machinery, devices, and materials. Examples of qualifying specialized experience should include technical work in: 1) Drafting, surveying construction estimating, physical science, mathematics, aerospace, architecture, chemicals, electrical or mechanical systems, mining, petroleum, or nuclear systems; 2) Practical knowledge of the methods and techniques of Electrical and Test engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to a full range of standard engineering test functions as they apply to test and evaluation of state-of-the-art air vehicle and propulsion systems using complex test support equipment and systems; including general knowledge of generators, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, environmental systems, electrical power systems and accessories; 3) Operation features and electrical design of the power systems of an air vehicle; 4) Operation of test support equipment, hardware oriented, where electrical work and air vehicle system testing is performed; 5) Interrelationships of test article and test support equipment required in the support of electrical testing.
