About the Position: This position is located at US ARMY AVIATION AND MISSILE COMMAND DEPUTY COS, G8 RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION SUPPORT BRANCH.

Duties

Coordinates detailed financial evaluations and variance analyses to plan and schedule in-process review meetings. Reviews and evaluates budgets utilizing resource allocations, obligation plans, guidelines, directives, principles and practices. Prepares, coordinates input to special and recurring reports covering financial review and analysis program. Evaluates funding, manpower and materials utilization, program cost as they relate to the overall program goals and weapon system support objectives Investigates variances from established standards to determines need for revision in plans and schedules due to deficiencies in operations and availability of resources

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position.
  • Incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance

  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of occasional travel.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget AdministrationOrganizational AwarenessPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
