Duties
You will assist BUMED Financial System Project Management Office (PMO) in developing methods and procedures for implementing financial system projects.
You will assess target financial management system processes and procedures against the current processes.
You will preform data modeling to determine changes necessary to ensure accurate and effective use of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system capabilities and to meet management internal control concepts and objectives.
You will manage financial systems project communication by coordinating working groups, and leading cross-functional collaboration session related to system implementation, system change request and system upgrades.
You will monitor and analyze financial data to identify processing problems and make recommendations for corrective actions.

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
Experience developing format and content to provide managers with various listings, reports, and data relative to status of funds and the propriety of obligations.
Experience ensuring the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
Experience promulgating approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and develops and issues implementing procedures.
Experience conducting management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommends alternatives for corrective action.
