You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the Financial Improvement Audit Remediation
(FIAR) branch (Code 11010) of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will be a lead on the Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation Team.
You will analyzing financial processes to ensure the Command's accounting practices are in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
You will provide assistance to key stakeholders by analyzing the root cause of audit issues, providing recommendations and coordinating the official response for the Command.
You will coordinate and assist the Process and Control Owners with the development of corrective action plans (CAP) necessary to address internal control gaps and deficiencies identified during testing.
Requirements

Qualifications
NO-05:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band NO-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: working with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP), fiscal/appropriation laws and policies, financial auditing and perform analysis, participate in Financial Improvement Audit Remediation (FIAR Audits), and preparing briefs.
NO-04:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band NO-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: working with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP), fiscal/appropriation laws and policies, financial auditing.

GS-11 ONLY:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
