You will serve as a GG-13-0132 All-Source Intelligence Analyst int he SPECTRUM Division of the Naval Warfare Department at the Nimitz Warfare Analysis Center in Suitland, MD. You will provide C5ISR-T, Electronic warfare or Cyber analysis, evaluation, interpretation, and dissemination of information and products relative to naval adversaries in the INDOPACOM Region.

Duties

You will effectively apply extensive knowledge of advanced research methodologies and analytical techniques and/or collection management systems to complex work assignment. You will expertly evaluates and integrates all-source intelligence information to produce/contribute to tailored intelligence products in response to customer requirements. You will present and defend activity positions or issues in his/her area(s) of expertise. You will possess broad-based, expert knowledge of assigned discipline/focus area, its customer base, and attendant requirements, and makes effective/innovative use of product line/vehicles available to satisfy requirements. You will utilize knowledge of intelligence collection, collation, research, and production and their respective roles in service level intelligence You will communicate effectively to include the capability to include the capability to convey complex operational, technical, and/or political-military concepts, and development and effectively employ multimedia presentations to this end.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Position may be subject to assignment to provide foreign language support in performance of officially assigned intelligence-related duties in accordance with NAVINTEL HRO Instruction 12550.2, FLPP for Naval Intelligence Civilian Employees.
  • Level two or higher proficiency must be certified every 12 months in the approved language(s) for at least two of the following skills: listening, reading, speaking, or writing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
  • This position may be subject to polygraph examination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as: 1) Apply extensive knowledge of research methodologies and analytic techniques to evaluate, interpret, and integrate all-source intelligence information. 2) Facilitate and mentor analysts in the production of finished intelligence products that adhere to Intelligence Community analytic tradecraft standards. 3) Develop and employ multimedia presentations to convey complex operational, tactical, and political-military concepts to executive level audiences. 4) Maintains liaison with personnel in other intelligence agencies, laboratories, services, and allied foreign governments to discuss production requirements and provide information. 5) Identify and provide for the resolution of intelligence gaps, prepare or satisfy collection requirements to resolve gaps, evaluate and facilitate reporting from collectors in response to requirements, and provide guidance/feedback.
