Duties
Serve as agency’s technical expert on lease acquisition and the management and disposal of Federal real property interests.
Provide supervision, oversight, direction, execution, coordination, and evaluation of the In-Leasing program and Management and Disposal program by leading and directing the Realty Specialists assigned to the two programs.
Ensure assigned Branch meets organizational deadlines and effectively communicate project and personnel status to leadership.
Administer training, assign work, and provide oversight of the Branch to achieve greatest program efficacy with available resources.
Negotiate complex leases and outgrant actions that are critical, controversial, and/or unusual in nature.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying knowledge of directives, laws, policies, and regulations relating to Federal and Army real estate procedures associated with the leasehold acquisition of Federal real property interests; the management and disposal of Federal real property interests; supervising a team assigned to execute the acquisition of leasehold real estate interests, management and disposal of real estate interests, and all associated actions; resourcing a diverse team in the execution of real estate products and services; and communicating and coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
