Duties

Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the work of 30-40 employees in the District and project offices; Involves real estate planning, acquisition, utilization, management and disposal for the Army (military/civil) and other reimbursable customers. Coordinate with regional/interagency customers the execution of the District’s in-leasing program, Recruiting Facilities Program, Civil Works acquisition projects, including environmental, flood control, river and harbor, and coastal protection. Responsible for updates and reporting to the District’s Project Budget Advisory Committee (PBAC) and the District’s Project Review Board (PRB). Establish program goals/objectives for multiple missions, including acquisition, management, and disposal of military/civil works; long-range multi-year strategic plans; organizational structure; schedules; and directing the execution of work. Advises, counsels, and instructs staff on both work and administrative matters. Make decisions and provide solutions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors, team leaders, and other technical and support staff. Responsible for common personnel and budget matters and processes, including job classification, organizational requirements, recruiting and assist in budget forecast and execution for the Real Estate Division.

  • Temporary Duty Travel 25% of the time.
  • This position is supervisory and requires a one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
