The Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) will rapidly and efficiently research, develop, prototype, test, evaluate, procure, transition, and/or field critical enabling technologies and capabilities that address, near-term, and mid-term threats. the RCCTO will produce or acquire material solutions, consistent with the Army's modernization priorities that maximize Soldiers' capabilities to deploy, fight, and win on future battlefields.
Duties
Performs a wide range of analytical, technical, and advisory functions related to the budgetary process.
Monitors Government Purchase Card transactions and Defense Travel System lines of accounting/labels for accuracy and sufficient funding.
Determines the propriety and cost-effectiveness of funding requests.
Effectively collaborates across the Command and with Headquarters Department of the Army on policies, directives, regulations and to complete taskers and other budget reviews.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Practitioner (formerly Level II) certification in Business - Financial Management (K) or must be able to obtain certification within 60 months of appointment.
- Secret Security Clearance.
- Financial Disclosure.
- This position requires Financial Management Certification Level 3.
- Up to 15% Business Travel.

Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 or (GS-11) equivalent grade level in the Federal service which incudes: (1) Executing current year and prior year funding; (2) Using financial databases such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army), and Program Management Resource Tools (PMRT); AND (3) Managing commitments, obligations, and disbursement of funds, reconciling against plans and resolving issues with missing/unmatched disbursements and unliquidated and negative obligations balances.
The definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or (GS-11) equivalent.
