Duties

Plan, organize, and accomplish a variety of work tasks in accordance with established policies and guidelines applicable to clerical and administrative support, office management, and program assistance. Prepare the calendar to include events, appointments, and schedules based upon knowledge of supervisors' planned work schedules, appointments, and previous commitments made. Conduct research and prepare reports such as financial, maintenance, supply, transportation, etc. Operate office automation equipment and use a variety of software to complete reports, etc.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM).

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Management, Human Resources, Education. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
