About the Position: The primary functions of this position are to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct operations of the Installation Drug Testing Collection Point (IDCP).

Duties

Coordinates, monitors, and maintains the installation’s urinalysis program, to include the testing of all military personnel, reservists, National Guard, and civilian personnel as identified in AR 600-85. Supports consolidating and analyzing statistical data on the installation urinalysis program. Participates in the development of a training course for UPLs to ensure adherence to all regulations, policies, and standard uniform procedures, at the unit level during the collection process. Ensures all personnel assigned or attached to the IDCP are trained in the proper chain of custody procedures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent will be certified by the DA DTC Certification Course within 9 months of assuming their duties.
