Duties

Provides daily direction, oversight and technical expertise for the development and execution of initiatives for Sports/Fitness, Recreation, and Revenue Generating programs as well as the associated management and resource support functions. Manages functions and operations of activities. Plans and coordinates details of events to include determining specifications and quantities of goods to order, manpower, space, facilities, food, and services. Oversees the development, coordination, implementation and reporting of management and operational metrics with linkage to above program objectives. Performs other duties as assigned.

• The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.

• Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
• Occasional travel is required.
• May be eligible for an alternate work schedule with every other Friday, Saturday and Sunday as regular days off. May be required to work early mornings and occasional nights and/or weekends.
• Eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan NTE $10,000.00 (annually).

Qualifications

Demonstrated work experience in the following areas: 1. Interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems. 2. Interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results. 3. Working in various Sports/Fitness, Recreation, and Revenue Generating programs demonstrating increasingly responsible work experience across multiple program areas. 4. Understanding of Army's Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) and community, family support operating programs and their interrelationships and funding channels. 5. Prior supervisory experience. Highly Preferred: Must posses five(5) or more years experience managing MWR Food & Beverage programs, Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) supervisory experience, and Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) budget experience.
