About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Monitor the Long-Term Workload Forecast in order to coordinate with Master Scheduling Coordinate with engineering cost estimators for quotes in response to customer requests. Monitor cost plan accuracy to ensure project goals are met. Organize project management teams according to established guidelines. Provide comprehensive planning information to meet project deadlines.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
• This position has a data analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for data analytics level 1 certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.

Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience in the Federal service at the GS-11 level which includes: managing a group of technical personnel who provide automated logistics management support requirements in planning, directing, evaluating, briefing, and coordinating of actions to support the depot mission material requirements; secondly, monitoring the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) for new and existing production programs with responsibility for program creation, cost estimates, acceptance, command scheduling, progress reporting, and program closure; AND ensuring planned workload schedules are negotiated with customers and accurately maintained within the Logistics Modernization Program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
