You will serve as the Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) Integration Officer at the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and facilitating integration of PED community developments into Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISRE) Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination policies. This position is located in Quantico, VA in the HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will develop, assemble, and maintain necessary documentation to support professional MCISRE PED training programs. You will establish and implements mechanisms for overseeing adherence to MCISRE PED operational and training standards among all MCISRE PED nodes. You will liaise between MCIA PED, the MCISRE PED Community of Practice (CoP), and Joint/Coalition PED community partners and represent MCIA/USMC at national, inter-agency, and international meetings and conferences. You will perform technical, administrative and management tasks that involves directing, assigning, and monitoring the work of the unit; managing and appraising employee and organizational performance; and supporting the development of employees.

  • You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
  • This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
  • This position may requires a 2-Year DCIPS trial period requirement.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties such as: 1) Developing, assembling, and maintaining Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and other required documentations to support MCIA an PED operations; 2) Identifying where MCISRE PED community developments, policies, and directives can improve upon and integrating appropriate changes into MCISRE policies; 3) Developing and implementing a local training program at MCIA for MCISRE PED instructors; 4) Making decisions that impact the resources (people, budget, materials) of the work unit and ensuring the technical quality and timeliness of the work produced by employees in the unit.
