Duties
Serve as the Division Office Manager to the Materials Science and Engineering Division.
Work directly with the Administrative Officer, Division Chief and Deputy Division Chief.
Serve as bankcard holder and timekeeper.
Prepare travels and NAIS (NIST Associates Information system) agreements.
Serve as Relocation Coordinator for the division.
Schedule appointments using Outlook Calendar for Division and Deputy Division Chiefs.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
- Suitable for Federal employment
- Must meet time-in-grade/band requirements, as applicable
- Bargaining Unit Position: No
- Must be able to type 40 WPM.
Qualifications
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 level (ZS-III) in the federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience as: an office support assistant to a division or group to include preparing documentation in support, update and schedule calendar appointments , acquisitions, travel management, purchase supplies & equipment, time and attendance, visitor registration, onboarding and other administrative duties.
In addition to the above minimum qualification requirements, applicants must be able to type at least 40 WPM.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
