You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Air Systems Group, Logistics Department, Maintenance Division, Maintenance Planning Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. F-35 Logistics Integration Team Lead within the Product Support Manager (PSM), of the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office.

Duties

You will serve as the central Logistics/Sustainment action officer ensuring all actions are recorded, tracked and progressed to completion. You will develop and maintain Logistics/Sustainment “Brain Books” to include schedules, risks, actions, and issues across the team. You will analyze logistics procedures to support and sustain aircraft systems products. You will explain regulatory and policy changes on overall logistics management support goals, long-range plans, projects, studies, and evaluations You will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise to the PSM Chief of Staff (CoS) in support of PSM lead efforts assigned through the Logistics Support. You will provide subject matter expertise to the PSM Chief of Staff (CoS) in the development and implementation of a comprehensive, outcome-based product support strategy. You will provide subject matter expertise to the PSM Chief of Staff (CoS) in translating Participant’s operational requirements into logistics sustainment strategy that will deliver those requirements. You will support the acquisition and integration of logistics and sustainment products and processes to enable a coherent F-35 support solution from initial acquisition of the platform to steady-state.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or DS-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, analysis, and execution necessary to create and establish aviation integration supportability policies and procedures for major aviation systems that operate; 2) Reviewing plans and products to ensure that they meet program needs. 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
